Two Light Tower Construction in Kansas City, July 2017 – progress shots of the added floors going up whilst keeping an eye out for good launching spots that allow for keeping a line of sight with a drone and that also don’t have much electromagnetic interference. Too much interference can cause a signal loss between the drone and the controller. Like I mentioned yesterday, part of my work this year has involved becoming fully FAA compliant for commercial use of a drone (“UAV”) and operating under an FAA Part 107 waiver for flying a drone in the controlled airspace of the Downtown Airport – which is quite a large area extending nearly all the way south to the Nelson Atkins Museum.
