KC Plaza Apartment Buildings Slated For Demolition – Word from the Facebook page of historickansascity.org has it that this old row of apartments on the western periphery of Kansas City’s Plaza area have pre-demolition permits issued. The buildings were designed by noted Kansas City architect Nelle Peters. The buildings are between Summit Street and along the Cancer Survivor’s Park on Roanoke Parkway/47th Street.
