H&R Block Building & Downtown Kansas City MO dusk aerials; I’ve been working to further along my full compliance with the FAA Part 107 drone piloting rules. Part of my work behind the scenes this year has been to operate in downtown Kansas City (Airport) airspace under an FAA waiver of controlled airspace, along with submitted so-called drone flight plans – or UOAs (unmanned operating area) via the 1800WXBrief web portal.

For these few here, I was practicing some closer-in pictures while keeping an eye out for the most ideal spots to launch from and still keep the proper visibility and signal link strength between the drone and the controller in my hands.
