Goofy Chicago Intersections Part 1: Damen, Milwaukee, North Avenues – coinciding with my winter 2018 stay in Chicago, I noticed this Curbed article about minimalist map art derived from “Chicago’s worst intersections.” Worst is relative though – this spot in Wicker Park is rather endearing as long as you aren’t in your car. None of the cars can get along here – everyone is honking at everyone else at each light cycle. I was renting a room close by and realized I wanted to do some long-exposure stills of this spot at Damen, Milwaukee, and North Avenues.
