Millennium Park Chicago 2017 solar eclipse viewing – my August 2017 stay in Chicago coincided with the solar eclipse. It never got dark as it did back in areas within the path of totality, such as Kansas City. I met up with a cousin and his wife to catch up on life and take in the eclipse. We were all sitting slightly west of Pritzker Pavilion as seen in this drone aerial.
