Carrera Espinel Ronda Spain – Following from Ronda’s Hotel Catalonia architecture posting, a nightfall photo from my time in Ronda, Spain in June 2022 shortly before departing back to the US. Heading into the summer, the City of Ronda and many others throughout Spain begin installing these sun shields above the large pedestrian shopping streets. Carrera Espinel in Ronda/Andalucia is one of the iconic, car-free shopping streets of Spain. Nearby in Malaga City, the popular shopping street Calle Marques de Larios also has these sunshields installed above in the hottest summer months.
